Why now
What can be built and what can be kept running are two different things.
Hello. I am Yuki Hamada, representative of Enabler Inc. I spent seven years at Mercari as a board director and CPO, launching and running products, and was a co-founder at NOT A HOTEL, building a business from zero. Today I have no fixed office; I move between our own guest houses and partner spaces, and make KOE and a few services around it.
Thanks to AI, the range one person can build has widened enormously. Much of this site, and much of the code, is made together with AI. But being able to build is not the same as being able to keep it running: answering people, checking the numbers, fixing what breaks, deciding the next move. That part — the running — is what I need someone to share.
We are not planning to become a large company. But as long as people use KOE, someone has to make sure they are not left stuck. I am looking for the first person to come and do that with me.
“Build it, keep it, with good people.” I would be glad to do work that is not left half-finished, together.
— Yuki Hamada, Representative Director, Enabler Inc.
What makes this job different
AI goes first. A person checks.
At KOE, work moves by handing tasks to AI agents and having a person verify the result. Writing, fixing code, research — a good part is done by AI first. So the most important skill here is not working fast. It is being able to doubt what comes out, check it against primary sources, and throw it away when it is wrong.
Not “it is fast because AI made it,” but “it can ship because a person checked it.” I want to work with people who keep that order.
Day to day
What you will actually do
- First-line support for voice registration, deletion and consent — identity and rights first, always.
- Measure voice quality and speed: synthesis success rate, waiting time, cost, and put it in a table.
- Update the site and documentation — find the mistakes and fix them.
- First response on outages and billing, and writing down what happened.
For the first month, one small fix at a time. We will not hand over big responsibility on day one.
How we work
Remote by default. We will build the place to meet.
Remote is the default. You can live anywhere in Japan. But we will make time to meet in person once or twice a week — not as a constraint, but because it is the most important time in this work.
There is no fixed office. We will find the places together — our own guest houses, NOT A HOTEL / NOTA rental spaces, partner cafés, maybe alongside an unmanned café. Nothing is decided yet. We will publish places here as they are settled.
- Conversations that never happen on a screen happen in the same room. Next moves are often decided in small talk.
- Meeting days are not fixed. Roughly once in the first half of the week.
- Full-time or from three days a week. Start with three months, then decide together whether to continue. The measure is simple: whether the work you were given can run without me stepping in.
- Living outside the city is fine. Travel costs for meeting days are covered by us.
Compensation
Numbers, not slogans.
比較対象は、日本のIT企業が実際に公開している募集レンジです(出典: TokyoDev 求人一覧, 2026-11-04 取得)。
| Item | Typical market range (public postings) |
|---|---|
| Senior engineer, annual | ¥6.5M–11M (mostly Tokyo, remote-friendly; e.g. MeetsMore Senior Software Engineer ¥6.5M–10.4M) |
| AI / agent roles | ¥11M–20M at staff / principal level (e.g. Money Forward Staff AI Engineer, AI Agents: ¥11.0M–20.0M, 7+ years, partially remote) |
| Fully remote | A minority. Most are partly remote or office-based |
| Stock options | Common in startups, limited at listed companies |
To be clear: this role is not the senior engineer role in the table. The market ranges above are for comparison only, so you can judge our offer against the market. We will tell you the actual range for this role by email before you apply.
- Meeting once or twice a week is more effort than a fully remote job; we return that in pay and autonomy.
- Start as a contractor; move to full-time employment if it fits. The policy is to grant stock options at that point.
- We do not inflate numbers. Terms are given in writing, not only verbally.
Pay range and option ratio are decided individually based on experience and hours. To know before applying, email with the subject “About the terms” — we will answer without an application.

FAQ
Before you write
Do I need to register my voice?
No. Applying does not require registering your voice, and we will never ask you to register someone else's. In the job you will handle consent and deletion requests, so you will learn how the flow works.
I have no experience in this kind of role.
That is fine. What matters is the habit of checking before you publish. The practical task is about 1–2 hours and is designed to be doable without prior knowledge of the product.
Can I do this alongside another job?
Yes, from 20 hours a week. We start with a three-month trial and decide together whether to continue.
I live outside the city.
No problem. Work is remote; travel costs for meeting days are covered by us.
Will my voice be used in the selection process?
No. We do not record or use applicants' voices in selection.
